| Weitere Angaben | Michael Tackett has also edited political, congressional and investigative stories for The Times, including a series in 2014 on state attorneys general by Eric Lipton that won the Pulitzer Prize for investigative reporting. Before joining The Times, Mr. Tackett served as a managing editor in the Washington Bureau of Bloomberg News, Washington bureau chief of The Chicago Tribune and national editor for U.S. News & World Report. He began his career as a reporter on The Tribune's city desk in Chicago. Mr. Tackett has won numerous journalism awards, including the White House Correspondent's Association's Edgar A. Poe Award for National Reporting. He is also a lawyer. A native of Anderson, Ind., and graduate of Indiana University, Mr. Tackett is also author of the nonfiction book “The Baseball Whisperer,” published by Houghton Mifflin in July of 2016. |
