| Weitere Angaben | Revd Luke Foster, MA, PhD. Tutor in Systematic Theology and Church History Luke grew up in the Philippines and Indonesia before moving to England for his final years of schooling. He studied English Literature at university and after five years of teaching English at a secondary school moved to Oak Hill to train for ordination in the Church of England. Luke served his curacy at a church in Banbury and then in 2015 moved to Chile with his wife Mary and their two children. The family were based in Santiago, the capital of Chile and were involved in the ministry of the Centre for Pastoral Studies - a small Bible College that trains men and women for Christian leadership throughout Chile and beyond. While teaching at CEP Luke began a doctoral research project that explored the intersection between contemporary Roman Catholicism, Christology and political theology. His dissertation was recently published by SCM Press as ’Gustavo Gutiérrez and The Liberative Sight of Christ’ The family returned to the UK from Chile in 2022 and were based in South London where Luke’s time was shared between ministry in a local church and teaching at the Cornhill Training Course |
