A navy veteran, he holds a B.A. from DePauw University and an M.A. and a Ph. D. from the University of Cincinnati. Fox is the author of numerous articles and reviews and his book 'The Group Bases of Ohio Political Behavior, 1803-1848' appeared in 1989. His article 'General John DeWitt and the Proposed Internment of German and Italian Aliens during World War II' reveived the annual Louis Knott Koontz Award from the Board of Editors of the 'Pacific Histrorical Review' as the best article appearing in that journal in 1988." - The unknown internment, 1990 |
