| Weitere Angaben | Robert C. Wible has been the Executive Director of the National Conference of States on Building Codes and Standards, Inc. (NCSBCS) for twenty years. He serves as liaison to the National Governors Association, Secretary to the Industrialized Buildings Commission, the Association of Major City Building Officials, and the Alliance for Building Regulatory Reform in the Digital Age. Mr. Wible has authored several studies regarding building regulations and economic development, and served as NCSBCS liaison to the nation's construction community. He assisted in the conceptualization and development of International Building Safety Week and the Industrialized Buildings Commission -- an interstate compact -- and the report on Streamlining the Nation's Building Regulatory Process. The NCSBCS The National Conference of States on Building Codes and Standards, Inc. (NCSBCS) was established by the nation's governors in 1967 to represent the states' building code and public safety issues. The NCSBCS has an Executive Branch Agreement with the National Governors Association, under which the NCSBCS provides technical support to the NGA standing committees and executive staff. NCSBCS also has a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Institute of Standards and Technology and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. NCSBCS is a cooperating member of the Council of State Governments, and a partner in the Partnership for Advancing Technology in Housing (PATH) and The Infrastructure Security Partnership (TISP). |
