This is for the papers he has published, the instruments he has developed and manufactured over the years, and for the test methods he has developed. After a BSc degree in physics and PhD from Birmington University, he did a graduate apprenticeship at English Electric in Stafford an then led development there of high power vacuum interrupters until moving to UKAEA Culham Laboratory in 1962. After 2 years as Manager of Advanced Technical Planning with Linotype Paul and 2,5 years running a small company at the University of College of North Wales, he set up his own company, John Chubb Instrumentation. |
