Neuigkeiten 18. bis 21. April 2025: Die Deutsche Nationalbibliothek ist an beiden Standorten geschlossen. Die Ausstellungen des Deutschen Buch- und Schriftmuseums sind von 10 bis 18 Uhr geöffnet. // 18 to 21 April 2025: The German National Library will be closed at both locations. The exhibitions of the German Museum of Books and Writing will open from 10:00 to 18:00.
 
Neuigkeiten 30.04.2025: Die Lesesäle im Hauptgebäude der Deutschen Nationalbibliothek in Leipzig schließen wegen einer Veranstaltung um 14 Uhr. Der Museums- und der Musiklesesaal sowie der Servicebereich sind bis 18 Uhr geöffnet. Die Ausstellungen des Deutschen Buch- und Schriftmuseums sind von 10 bis 18 Uhr geöffnet. // The reading rooms in the main building of the German National Library in Leipzig will close at 14:00 due to an event. The museum reading room, the music reading room and the service area are open until 18.00. The exhibitions of the German Museum of Books and Writing will open from 10:00 to 18:00.

Weitere Angaben Sri Savarindira (Thai: ศรีสวรินทิรา; RTGS: Si Sawarinthira, 10 September 1862 – 17 December 1955), also known as Savang Vadhana (Thai: สว่างวัฒนา; RTGS: Sawang Watthana), was a consort and half-sister of Chulalongkorn (Rama V), but she was not the Rajini or the highest ranked consort. After her first grandson's accession to power in 1935, she became known as Somdetch Phra Phan Vassa Ayika Chao (สมเด็จพระพันวัสสาอัยยิกาเจ้า; RTGS: Somdet Phra Phan Watsa Ai-yika Chao; "the Queen Grandmother"). All her children died before her, so she lived to see her grandsons Ananda Mahidol and Bhumibol Adulyadej take the throne.
